Terms & Conditions

1.1. This giveaway is run by COBE Limited (NZBN 9429052917707), a New Zealand company ("COBE" or "we"), with its registered office at Suite 7, 59 Victoria Street, Onehunga, Auckland, 1061, New Zealand. 

1.2. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta or TikTok. 

2.1. Entries open at 12:00am New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT) on Monday, 26 October 2026. Entries close at 11:59 pm NZDT on Sunday, 22 November 2026. Late entries are not eligible. 

2.2. The draw will take place in Auckland on Wednesday, 25 November 2026. 

3.1. The giveaway is open to New Zealand residents aged 16 or over. Entrants aged 16 or 17 need permission from a parent or legal guardian and that parent or guardian must confirm their consent before any prize is awarded. 

3.2. COBE employees, directors and contractors and their immediate families, cannot enter. 

4.1. Join the COBE waitlist at https://cobepass.com and provide your name, email address and mobile number. Entry is free. No payment, purchase or membership is required. 

4.2. Everyone on the COBE waitlist at the closing time will automatically be entered in the giveaway, provided they meet the eligibility requirements, unless they notify COBE that they do not wish to participate. COBE will notify existing waitlist members of the giveaway and provide them with a link to these Terms & Conditions before the closing date. 

4.3. Each person gets one entry, no matter how many times they register. Duplicate, fraudulent or automated entries will be disqualified. 

4.4. These Terms & Conditions apply to the giveaway and all entries. By joining the waitlist during the promotion period, or choosing to participate after being notified of the giveaway, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. 

5.1. There are five prizes of NZ$1,000 cash each, totalling NZ$5,000. Each person can win only one prize. 

5.2. Prizes are paid by bank transfer to a verified New Zealand bank account in the winner's name. For a winner aged 16 or 17, the prize may be paid to a parent's or legal guardian's verified bank account with their consent. 

5.3. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Winners are responsible for any personal tax obligations that may arise. 

6.1. Five winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries using a computerised random selection method, with each entry having an equal chance. COBE will keep a record of the draw. 

6.2. COBE will call winners on 25 November 2026 and will also email any winner it cannot reach by phone. Winners have 14 calendar days from COBE's first contact attempt to respond and claim their prize. 

6.3. Winners may need to provide proof of identity, age, New Zealand residency and bank account ownership. COBE will never ask winners to pay a fee to claim their prize. Prizes will be paid within 10 business days of verification. 

6.4. If a winner doesn't respond in time, cannot be verified, is ineligible or declines the prize, COBE will draw a replacement winner at random from the remaining eligible entries. A replacement winner must respond within five calendar days after COBE’s first contact attempt. Further redraws will be conducted on the same basis until all five prizes have been awarded. 

6.5. Winners may be announced on COBE's website and social media channels from 25 November 2026 (after each winner has been verified), using their first name and suburb only, and only with their consent (plus a parent's or guardian's consent if the winner is under 18). 

7.1. COBE collects personal information about entrants, including their name, email address and mobile number, to administer the giveaway, confirm eligibility and contact winners. If you are selected as a winner, COBE may also request additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, age and New Zealand residency (which may include your residential address) and to pay the prize. If you do not provide the information reasonably required for these purposes, COBE may be unable to include you in the giveaway or award you a prize. 

7.2. We may disclose your personal information to our personnel, representatives, other parties involved in administering the giveaway, and any regulatory authorities (as required). 

7.3. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and COBE's Privacy Policy at https://cobepass.com. To request access to or correction of your personal information, email hello@cobepass.com. 

7.4 COBE may contact you as reasonably necessary to administer the giveaway. If you separately opt in to receive marketing communications from COBE, you may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry. 

8.1. COBE may disqualify anyone who provides false information, interferes with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions. COBE’s decisions relating to the giveaway are final, and you agree to be bound by any such decisions. 

8.2. If events beyond COBE's reasonable control prevent the giveaway from running as planned, COBE may take reasonable and lawful steps to address the situation and will publish any changes on its website. 

8.3. To the extent permitted by law, COBE is not liable for any loss or damage suffered in connection with the giveaway or any prize, including any loss arising from a late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or ineligible entry, or any technical failure or other event outside COBE’s reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you have under New Zealand law, including the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. These Terms & Conditions are governed by New Zealand law.
